Refund Policy.
1. Overview
This policy applies to all services purchased through pelicanwebdesign.com. Because our services are digital and begin within a short period after payment, the applicable refund conditions depend on the stage at which a cancellation request is received.
2. Full refund
A full refund is available if the cancellation request is received within 5 calendar days of payment AND before the initial brief meeting has taken place. To request a refund, email billing@pelicanwebdesign.com with your name, order date, and order reference number.
3. Partial refund
After the brief meeting has taken place but before the first design deliverable is sent, a partial refund of 60% of the project fee may be issued. After the first design deliverable is sent and approved, no refund is available as substantial digital work has been delivered.
4. No refund
No refund is available once all agreed deliverables have been sent. Refunds are not available for dissatisfaction with an approved design direction where the work conforms to the agreed project brief.
5. Care plan cancellation
Annual care plans may be cancelled at any time. Upon cancellation, a pro-rata refund of the unused portion of the annual fee will be issued, calculated from the cancellation date to the end of the paid period.
6. EU right of withdrawal
By requesting that service work begin immediately upon purchase (confirmed at checkout), EU consumers acknowledge that the 14-day statutory right of withdrawal ceases once performance of the digital service has begun. The 5-day full refund window in Section 2 above applies as an alternative where work has not yet commenced.
7. Refund process
Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method. Stripe's processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
